On the grounds where the city of Woerden is situated there used to be an important settlement during the Roman times. The name of this Roman border settlement can be found on only one document that survived the test of times. In this papyrus map there is one small hole exactly where the name of the settlement is written. One letter is therefore not clearly seen. Most historians believe there should be an ‘i’. This work questions this belief. To become part of this discussion one can stand on the empty spot between the letters and become the ‘i’ or one can leave the question open.
